Bach Flower Therapy

Dr Bach’s system of healing is intended to treat the person rather than the disease, the cause rather than the effect. Simplicity is the key and Dr Bach’s wish was that everyone should be able to help themselves positively in order to find inner harmony. There are 38 remedies in the Bach remedy healing system. All of them were discovered in the 1920s and 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a well-known bacteriologist, physician and pathologist.

Today, doctors agree that 50-75 percent of all disease is stress related, showing the relationship between the emotions and heart disease, autoimmune disorders, cancer, allergies and the like. Dr. Bach recognized this over 70 years ago, when working with his patients, he saw that their emotions were contributing to their physical ailment and he deliberately created a natural healing system to help people restore balance and maintain their well-being. To experience true health, we need to be in harmony with ourselves in body, mind and spirit. You cannot be healthy and at peace when you are conflicted, when your mind is filled with worry, fear and tension. The Bach flower remedies can help us to achieve this harmony.

Bach flower essences are extracts from wild flowers which have a positive effect on emotional and mental imbalances such as fear, anxiety, anger, lack of self-confidence, poor self-image, stress and worrying, sleep problems, nightmares, failure, exam fear, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, sadness, guilt, concentration problems, depression. The remedies are also very helpful during major transitions such as divorces, death, homesickness, menopause and the teenage years.

They work directly on emotional and mental level, seeking to balance negative emotions. Dr Bach’s system of healing is a method of self-help and self-discovery that is easy to understand approach and selection.

„Wonderful as it may seem, relieve your patient of the mood or moods such as are given in this system of healing, and your patient is better“.

Dr. Edward Bach, 1936
