New Year Resolutions?

New Year Resolutions?
7 January 2020
And here we are, we entered a new decade, year 2020 and as always people talk about new year resolutions. Well, let’s talk about new year resolutions… Are they such a cliché or can we actually recognise them as a window of opportunity? Opportunity to change for better, break from our routine, an opportunity to be courageous? In my opinion DEFINITELY YES!

We all have something we want to change about ourselves resp. list of them :D as we all know change is not easy, change is stepping out of our comfort zone and feel uncomfortable until we create a new habit. It takes 21 days to create a habit and 90 days to create a lifestyle. And now we are getting to the point why I definitely thing new year is a good opportunity to establish new habit and eventually lifestyle. We are all caught up in Christmas time there is no question about it. If not from November then definitely December we spend the time with preparations and shopping for the last magical week of the month. During festive week we all enjoy few or more days off, letting loose with food maybe beverages and generally spending joyful time with our families. If we realise it or not, we are already out of our routine. When new year comes, we are slowly getting back to reality, but this is where the opportunity lies for us. Back to normal has still the flavour of starting new (fresh) the calendar says 1.1.2020 we can’t change that. Our routine is messed up why not to create a new one rather then going back to old paths? If there is a change, you were planning to do I think now is the perfect time for it… to be COURAGEOUS

If this is your TIME, I would like to recommend few Bach flower remedies which can offer you support on your journey.

Chestnut Bud – used when we repeat inappropriate pattern or have difficulty to change habits. This essence will help us to take full advantage of daily experiences and to see ourselves and our mistakes, move forward and make progress in life.

Walnut – is “link-breaker”, breaks links to the past and facilitates freedom to move forwards. Help us to stabilise during all periods of change and transition.

Impatiens – is suitable for people who are easily irritated, restless and frustrated. As we are trying to change, we all need a bit more patience with ourselves.

Larch – is for lack of self-confidence, for people who won’t even try because they are sure that they will fail. Larch will help us to become determined, capable, with a realistic sense of self-esteem, unworried about failure. Take risks and refuse to accept the word “can’t”.

Mimulus – is for fear from known causes and change can be scary sometimes. Mimulus will help us to establish quiet courage to face trials and difficulties with humour and confidence.
